Snipes Concrete — FAA requires enforcement of Michigan arbitration forum

The published panel reversed and ordered enforcement of the agreed Michigan forum. Because the subcontract involved interstate commerce, the Federal Arbitration Act applied and preempted North Carolina’s contrary forum restriction.
